Venturous Counseling

My name is Lindsey Sander, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in Greenville, SC and the founder of Venturous Counseling. I am also currently a provider at Moment, Center for Anxiety Disorders. While I am originally from Williamsburg, Virginia, I pursued my education in South Carolina where I received a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina. I then earned both M.Ed./Ed.S. degrees from Clemson University in Counselor Education with specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Through my experiences in both a speciality OCD/anxiety based internship during my master's program, as well as professional training completed through UPenn's Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), I have acquired extensive training to treat OCD and significant anxiety disorders among all ages, with a concentration in pediatrics. I understand that OCD and anxiety can feel very debilitating and isolating. I want to emphasize that you do not have to face these challenges alone. As your counselor, I will not take a passive approach to your health. I will encourage you to take risks while providing a safe and supportive environment to do so. I find purpose in my work through aiding you in overcoming your challenges and helping you live life to the fullest.
